Meet Our Coaches
Rachel Raley - Coach/Owner
Former Texas A&M soccer player (4 years) 2007-2010. Won 2 Big XII Championships in 2007 and 2010 with 4 NCAA tournament appearances making it to the Elite Eight in 2008 and the Sweet Sixteen in 2009. Graduated with a degree in Finance from Texas A&M in 2011 but her passion has been and always will be centered around soccer. Has U-17, U-20 and U-23 USA Women's National team experience. 4 years experience coaching U11-U13 competitive soccer teams as well as 10 years experience coaching 2-6 year olds. Soccer and coaching are her passion and she aims to share the game she loves with as many people as she can. Hopes to help build and grow a soccer culture in the BCS area
We have a great coaching staff comprised of current/former A&M soccer players, club soccer players, A&M students and young adults who share a passion for soccer and teaching little ones.
Ellie is a Senior at Texas A&M University studying biomedical science with a philosophy minor in the University Honors program. She is from Mansfield, TX and plans to attend medical school to pursue a pediatric specialty upon graduation. Two of Ellie's biggest passions are health and working with kids. She has experience working with kids in a variety of different settings: training players from the Mansfield Revolution Soccer Club in her hometown, nannying and babysitting, working as a counselor-in-training at Camp Thurman and serving as a summer missionary at Life Teen Camp Hidden Lake. She has played soccer since she was 4, playing for D'Feeters SC throughout high school. She also played for Texas A&M Women's Club team for 2 years. She is currently involved in undergraduate research through the Human Clinical Research Facility, leads and participates in a bible study through the Fellowship of Catholic University Students, volunteers at the Elizabeth House Maternity Home, and serves as a Texas A&M Foundation Maroon Coat. She is so excited to work with Hot Shots to be a positive influence both on and off the field!
Vanessa is from Northern Virginia where she grew up playing soccer and loving every minute of the game. She went to the University of Delaware where she received her BS in Marine Science with a concentration in Marine Biology. She is currently an Aggie (whoop!) studying Marine and Environment Policy at the Bush School. She is also involved with Texas A&M's intramural soccer team and enjoys playing as much soccer as she can in her free time! She has her grassroots license from US Soccer for 4v4 and 7v7. She is super excited to be coaching your kiddos this year and for the opportunity to share her love for the game!
Kendall is a Sophomore on the Aggie Soccer team from Melissa, Texas. She's been playing soccer for over 13 years and competed with several powerhouse clubs in North Texas before coming to Texas A&M.. Now she will be playing with the Aggies and coaching Hot Shots. She is majoring in communications with a minor in sports management. She has experience coaching at Aggie Soccer camp and has done numerous individual skills lessons. We are so excited to have Kendall back with us this season! Our littlest classes sure do love her!
Jordan is a Junior goalkeeper on the Aggie Soccer Team. She is from Edmond, OK and played competitively with Tulsa Hurricane and Oklahoma Energy. She has loads of experience working with young kids through Aggie Soccer camps, FCA camps and private lessons. She is currently majoring in Management PreLaw and hopes to go to law school in the future. She is super excited to be a part of Hot Shots this season and having the opportunity to teach our kiddos!
Emily grew up in College Station and started playing soccer when she was 4. She played club soccer through High School along with running track at College Station High School. She is the second oldest of 5 kids and has always loved being around kids! She started babysitting at a young age, has done swim lessons with all ages and has worked at Grace Bible church's childcare for many years. She is currently taking classes studying English Literature and aspires to pursue a job in publishing and editing books! Emily is amazing with all ages of kids and we are thrilled to have her working with us this season.
Karlina is a Junior center defender on the Texas A&M soccer team. She is majoring in Broadcast Media and minoring in Business Marketing. She is from Dallas, TX where she played on the academy level for Solar Soccer Club. Her favorite thing about coaching kids is that even though she is the instructor, she always learns something from them as well! She enjoys exercising, listening to music and spending time with family and friends. We are so excited to have Karlina join us this season!
Penny is a Junior at Texas A&M studying Nutrition. She is from Flower Mound, TX. Penny is passionate about hanging out with kids of all ages spending time outside. She spent her first two years of college at Kilgore College dancing on the Kilgore College Rangerettes dance/drill team. While on the Rangerettes, Penny taught various summer camps to kids of all ages. At the camps she facilitated games and taught basic dance skills. Penny is a member of Kappa Alpa Theta at Texas A&M. Penny loves to relive her soccer days by going to the park with friends and playing for fun and exercise! Penny will be working at Sky Ranch this summer, as a camp counselor, where she will strive to help young kids grow in ministry and have fun! She is looking forward to spending this season with Hot Shots and cannot wait to get to know and have fun with kids in the B/CS area!
Maddie is a sophomore Biomedical Science major at Texas A&M. She is from Boerne, TX and grew up playing club soccer and has a love for sports in general. She is passionate about anything involving playing with children and has experience coaching soccer & basketball for young kids. She loves being outside and spending time with friends and family! She served as a camp counselor at T bar M this past summer and loves the opportunity to form relationships with people. She can't wait to coach Hot Shots for this first time and have the opportunity to love on her kiddos!
Stephanie is a Freshman at Texas A&M studying International Studies and Arabic. She is hoping to one day work in counter terrorism overseas. Stephanie has been playing club soccer for 15 years and was committed to play at Vassar College in New York before deciding to come to Texas A&M. While this is her first season with Hot Shots, she has coached soccer before at various soccer camps in Austin. She loves meeting new people and is super excited to share her love for soccer with other kids!
Autumn is a sophomore at Texas A&M University studying Kinesiology in hopes of pursuing a career as a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist. She grew up in Austin, TX playing soccer for Lonestar Soccer Club and later became a captain of her high school team. She now continues to play on an intramural team with her two younger siblings who also play soccer. Autumn has a passion for anything that has to do with children! She has worked with them in a variety of settings including teaching swim lessons during the summer and serving as a counselor at Camp Lone Star. She is excited that she gets to combine her love of soccer with her love for children through Hot Shots this season! We are so excited to add Autumn to our team!
Madelyn grew up in College Station and played soccer for 7 years. She is now a part time photographer and dreams to make it her full time job one day as she loves working with families, seniors and children! She actually participated in Hot Shots when she was 3 and loved it! It's fun to have her come full circle and participate as a coach now! She is so excited to get to know all of the sweet kids and watch them grow as soccer players. She currently works at her church's children's ministry and loves it so she is so looking forward to having the opportunity to work on the soccer field!
Kyra is a Sophomore at Texas A&M University studying Child Professional Services. She is originally from Austin, TX and has always had a heart for working with kids. Playing sports was always a big part of her life growing up and she is so thankful for this opportunity to continue her love of teaching. Her Junior and Senior year of high school she had the privilege of teaching swimming lessons to 3-15 year olds Waterloo Swimming in Austin. She has always had a passion for teaching and has always spent time around the soccer field growing up. Kyra loves spending time outdoors, enjoying time with her family and friends, and doing anything that involves being around people and pretty places. She has always had a passion for running and has recently registered for her first half marathon in the spring. She will love to spend time with your kids while teaching them the love of the game!!
Senior on the Aggie Soccer team! Jenna is majoring in International Studies with minors in both Spanish and Business. She is from Tulsa, OK where she was a 4 year captain of her club team, TSC Hurricane 98 ECNL Club. She also played soccer AND field hockey for her high school, Holland Hall. She currently volunteers with Big Brother Big Sister of Brazos Valley. She hopes to start grad school in the Fall at the Bush School. She loves soccer, school, her friends, family and God. We are thrilled to have Jenna back with us again this Spring!
Daria is a sophomore on the Texas A&M soccer team. She is originally from San Antonio, TX where she has been playing soccer for over 14 years. She has always loved working with kids and has worked many Aggie Soccer camps - one of the best soccer camp experiences in the country! On top of her soccer career, Daria is wanting to pursue a career in occupational therapy. We are thrilled to have Daria join us this Fall!
Joe grew up in College Station playing soccer since he was 3. He started playing club soccer at the age of 10 and was on varsity all 4 years of High School. He also played semi-pro throughout high school. He has been coaching and training kids and adults for 7 years. He volunteers with youth at Grace Bible Church and works summers on staff at Sky Ranch christian camps. Joe loves working with kids and old oldest kids LOVE having Joe as their coach!
Macy is a freshman Kinesiology major at Texas A&M hoping to pursue a career in physical therapy. She is from Austin, TX and played soccer for 14 years prior to attending A&M both competitively and for school. She played for Lonestar Soccer Club out of Austin and helped captain her team to win a National Championship in the President's Cup. Macy is so excited to get back on the field to continue to share her love of the game and be able to coach your kiddos this season for Hot Shots!
Senior Civil Engineering major with a minor in Business. Delanie has big plans to own her own consulting firm one day! She is originally from Dallas, TX where she's been playing soccer since she was 10 years old. She played both for her high school team and at the competitive level. She loves interacting with people, especially kids, and has enjoyed her time working at a day care for the past few summers. Delanie is a welcomed addition to our Hot Shots coaching team this season bringing her love of soccer and kids out to the field!
Austin is a Senior at Texas A&M University. He is a Marketing major in Mays Business School with a focus in sales management. He has played soccer since Kindergarten and played all the way through his High School Varsity team. His senior year he helped lead his team into the playoffs and earned first-team all District honors. Since graduating high school, Austin has been a referee for Texas A&M intramural soccer league. He has always had a love for soccer and working with kids and we are so excited to get him involved this season!
Reagan is a Junior Communication major at Texas A&M University from San Antonio, TX. She has many years of experience working and playing with kids. She works with and teaches kids at her church home in San Antonio and spends her summers being a counselor at Sky Ranch, a Christian summer camp. Reagan played golf in high school and loves to play soccer recreationally with her friends. She appreciates the value of sportsmanship and fun when it comes to sports
